Brunch is a meal that almost everyone can agree is made for the weekends. After sleeping in, it’s nice to gather the family around the table for some delicious breakfast dishes. Here are three amazing brunch spots near Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
- Egg It On Cafe
When the name has the word egg in it, you know you can expect exceptional breakfast options, and Egg It On Cafe comes through on that. From the create-your-own omelets to the frittatas and crepes, every member of your family is bound to find something they’ll love. Check out the Loaded Potato Cakes, two grilled potato cakes with sauteed onions, melted cheese, and bacon served with two eggs, half side of meat, and toast or English muffin. The kids will love their pancakes, available plain or with banana, cranberry, blueberry, granola, apple cinnamon, or even chocolate chip.
Be sure to try their Southern-style biscuits and gravy, a real treat with a large Southern-style biscuit, split in two and covered in their homemade sausage gravy. For the health-conscious out there, Egg It On offers a portion of their menu that includes a Fresh Fruit Crepe, which is a homemade crepe filled with sliced kiwi, banana, and strawberries along with low-fat strawberry yogurt. Head on over to 1131 S. Aspen Ave. to enjoy delicious food served Wednesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Bramble Breakfast and Bar
Located in the Rose District at 121 N. Ash Ave., the Bramble Breakfast and Bar offers tasty brunch options. For something a little different, try their Breakfast Tacos, made with your choice of mojo pork or chorizo, scrambled eggs, cilantro, onion, and cotija, served on corn tortillas with a side of salsa. Their eyes will bug out of their heads when the kids see the Capshaw Cinnamon Roll, a flash-fried jumbo cinnamon roll topped with ooey-gooey cream cheese frosting. Pancakes are available as buttermilk, white cheddar jalapeno, chocolate chip, blueberry and lemon curd, and bacon and bourbon.
The chef also offers a daily quiche, made with ingredients of their choosing, so be sure to ask your server about it. Another favorite is the Bramwich Bowl with sausage gravy and a house-made biscuit, topped with breakfast potatoes, sausage patty, two eggs, and cheddar cheese. Bramble’s French toast is made with cinnamon brioche bread for extra flavor.
- The Big Biscuit
The Big Biscuit is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for appetizing breakfast items. Check out their award-winning biscuits and gravy, served as a full, half, or quarter order.
