The 2020 Impala has a curvy profile, a sculpted body and hood, and a prominent grille with horizontal chrome bars featuring a gold Chevrolet bowtie symbol in the center. There’s also a smaller lower grille. Choose the LT for all-season tires, 18-inch wheels, manually folding heated side mirrors with turn signals, and dual exhaust. Front and rear splash guards and a rear spoiler are available. With the Premier, you’ll get 19-inch wheels, and puddle lights, a dual-pane power sunroof with a power sunshade, auto-dimming side mirrors, and 20-inch wheels are optional.
Impressive Performance
This car’s 3.6-liter V-6 engine generates 305 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission, and it’s powerful, maneuverable, and fun to drive. The Impala has great acceleration and responsive power steering. Its independent suspension gives it a smooth, comfortable ride, and StabiliTrak electronic traction and stability control adjusts the power sent to each wheel for optimal performance in a variety of conditions. You can also choose an engine block heater to start the engine in cold weather faster.
A Luxurious Interior
The Impala seats five people and it has a sleek, modern look with curves and chrome accents on the doors and dashboard. The LT comes with two 12-volt power outlets, remote start, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 4.2-inch color driver information center, push-button start, a six-speaker audio system, and keyless entry.
Other standard features include folding rear seats, voice recognition, an 8-inch touch screen with storage space behind it, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and dual-zone climate control with rear air vents. You’ll also get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, SiriusXM satellite radio, an eight-way power driver’s seat, cruise control, and a compass.
You can choose a 120-volt power outlet, a cargo net, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and a universal home remote as well. Select the Premier for an 11-speaker Bose sound system, navigation, a CD player, wireless charging, and optional memory settings for the steering wheel, side mirrors, and driver’s seat.
Excellent Safety
This sedan uses a variety of advanced features to help you keep yourself and your passengers safe. It comes with braking assistance, 10 air bags, hill start assistance, an emergency tool kit, and a rearview camera.
